Drive to Lulusar Lake, the source of the Kunhar, and on to Babusar Top, the high pass with wide views into Gilgit Baltistan.
Day 4
Shogran, Siri Paye, and return
Stop at Shogran and a jeep to the Siri Paye meadow on the way down, then the road home to Peshawar or Islamabad.

Top Naran and Kaghan attractions
Lake Saif ul Malook
The famous alpine lake at 3,224 metres above Naran, below the 5,290 metre peak of Malika Parbat, reached by a rough jeep track. Clear, cold, and wrapped in legend, the classic sight of the Kaghan valley, with the Ansoo Lake trek beyond for the fit.
Babusar Top
The high pass at the head of the Kaghan valley at 4,173 metres, the summer gateway to Gilgit Baltistan and the shorter road on to Hunza and Skardu, with wide views toward Nanga Parbat and the Kunhar's source at Lulusar below.
Lulusar Lake
The largest natural lake in the Kaghan valley at 3,410 metres and the source of the Kunhar River, deep blue on the road up to Babusar Top. A natural stop on the pass day.
Shogran and Siri Paye
The green plateau of Shogran and the high Siri Paye meadow above it at 2,895 metres, reached by jeep, with the peaks of Makra and Malika Parbat around a shallow reflecting pool, and the Lalazar meadow at 3,123 metres nearby.
The Kunhar River
The river that runs the length of the Kaghan valley, famous for its trout and its rafting, rushing past Balakot, the Kiwai Waterfall, Kaghan, and Naran. The road follows it up to Lulusar and Babusar.
Naran town
The base town of the valley on the Kunhar, the hub for the jeeps to Saif ul Malook and the drives to Babusar and Shogran, with hotels, bazaars, and trout restaurants.
